Christmas Magic

It was cold in Boston last night and I was roaming around Faneuil Hall waiting for a comedy workshop to start.  The store fronts were decorated with holly and shiny ornaments and holiday sale signs littered the windows.   The giant Christmas tree was lit up with what seemed to be a million light and there was a magnificent start on top.  A happy young couple was posed in front of the tree trying to take a picture of themselves with their cell phone.  I offered to take their picture and after several poses and photos later they waked off into the night.  As I turned the corner there were old fashion carolers in costumes and all and singing Silent Night.  What a perfect night.  That was the Christmas magic I love.  It was warm in December and that night I fell asleep with visions of sugar plums dancing in my head.
